I’m Joshua Whitney — diagnosed with leukemia in May 2018, rebuilt with a bone marrow transplant in 2020, and now running on equal parts caffeine, sarcasm, and stubbornness. Doctors saved my life, but humor saved my sanity. Somewhere between chemo bags and hospital food that tasted like drywall, I figured out that if I was going to survive, I might as well have a personality about it.
I create books for people who are tired of inspirational quotes written by folks who’ve never worn a hospital bracelet. Journals for fighters, coloring books for kids, stories with too much honesty, and projects that remind people it’s okay to laugh even when life is being a complete jerk. I’m a husband, Detroit sports addict, sports-card hustler, and professional button-pusher who believes healing can involve four-letter words and bad jokes.
Joshua Whitney Creations is basically my way of flipping life the middle finger — politely, of course — and turning the worst chapters into something worth reading. If you’re here for perfect and polished, you’re in the wrong place. If you’re here for real, a little reckless, and a lot of heart, welcome to the circus.

To create honest, real-life books that encourage healing, laughter, and resilience—whether you’re fighting illness, raising a family, or just trying to make sense of life one day at a time.
